It was very early in the morning, before the sun was up, Zhenson turned into his animal form a maned wolf, he sneaked out of his dorm and outside, like some sort of snake, but he wasn't a snake. Zhenson ran when he was farthest from where he thought knowbody could see him he went back into his human form, he slowed to a walk, as he walked through the wonderful dark courtyard, he didn't know why he liked it out here so early in the morning, he guessed it was because knowbody was ever out or pretty much up at this time. he laughed at himself if he was ever caught out here at this time he'd so get grounded to his dorm, it was even more unsafe because Zhenson was a Hybrid, and there was still people out there killing his kind. the pond came up infront of him, it looked like a black pool of some sort, but it was beautiful in the dark, just like it was in the day, he climbed the closest tree, which so happened to be dead, leaning agaisnt the tallest branch he watched and waited. Most times he would have black hair but not today or should I say not this morning, his hair was blonde, a new look. Ambrose his boyfriend said he looked good blonde but he said anything to make Zhenson happy, even if it was a lie, he laughed, Ambrose was so spirited, then again, when Zhenson wanted to be he was two, it was just to early in the day to run around. The sun became to come up from the harrizen, it looked beautiful, although the pond wasn't big the colors of blue red, pink, and yellow shaded the not so long ago black pond, this was what Zhenson had came out to see, he jumped from his tree and sat by the egde of the water, closing his eyes he remembered the first time he had met Ambrose when they hadn't been much older then 6 years old, every sunset, and sun rise reminded him of Ambrose, later he would go and see him, Ambrose was the most important person in his life, Ambrose was the only one who spent time with him.

i am the walking dead heartbreaker... my apologies... i'm happy you'll never understand... what it's like to be... trapped under six feet of... solid glass... i can see out, but no one gets in...
A young woman, no older than eighteen, slipped from the girl's dormitories unnoticed. This was a usual occurance at such an early hour and young Amidalla Bloodryne had fallen into the habit rather easily. Being a vampire meant that Ami had no need to sleep and while she shared her dormitory with students of other species who did require the restful period, she had no desire to hang around waiting for them to awaken and begin the day of destruction that was surely ahead of them. She slipped through the front of the school and made her way down to the courtyard. It had become second nature now and her feet seemed to carry her there without a single thought from her brain. She dug her hands into the pockets of the dark, oversized hoodie she wore, it belonged to her fiancé Lucian, oh how she wished that she could see him right about now, the demon may have been best friends with her older brother but he always made her feel relaxed. She scuffed her feet along the ground, her slightly-worn sneakers were use to this by now.
She sighed, looking up from the ground, her hair blowing against her face as she took in the scenery in front of her. The darkened lake had just come into view and she had high hopes for peace this morning. She ran her hand through her hair, messing it up slightly, before digging said hand back into her pocket. It was a slightly chilled morning but it did not bother her, the bite of the air went mostly unnoticed because she had become so accustom to wandering around at this time. To her, authority meant nothing, if she was told not to do something then there was a 99.999 percent chance that she would do it or had done it already. Lucian found this rather amusing, her older brother was annoyed by it and she never had much to do with her sisters these days or the youngest of their siblings for that matter.
She stopped beside a tree, looking out over the horizon as the sun rose, casting colour and light across the grounds and the sky. Most would say it was beautiful but Ami saw little beauty in things when she was forced to reside behind these walls without contact with Lucian. She twisted the ring on her left finger, thankful that the pocket of the jumper she wore went the full length of the garment, as one, rather than being broken into two parts. She smiled as she remembered the day she had been presented with the ring, seeing the simple gold band with onyx and emerald stones set into it had made her heart beat more times than she thought possible. She was the living dead and was certain that it was not possible but she had been proven wrong. She suddenly had the feeling that she was not alone and looked around, seeing no-one. She didn't know what made her do it but she looked up into the branches of the dead tree beside her, mentally scolding herself for not noticing the blonde haired boy that sat in the branches, he seemed familiar. "What in the world are you doing up there?" she said, her tone could be taken as nasty or nice depending on how well the person knew her. Ami was usually rather blunt and sometimes sarcastic, it was part of her charm, or so Lucian seemed to say.

Zhenson sighed, so there was someone else hear, he looked down from his place in the tree, to see a women below him, smiling he jumped and hit the ground with a soft thud, he looked at the other person, he could swear he had seen her somewhere, probably in the hallways, but he really didn't care.
"I'm just trying to relax is all" Zhenson said, honestly he didn't have to reply to her, but he did anyways, he grinned, he was such a pain in the behind so early in the morning, some people hated him for that, opthers just didn't care.
"And can I ask what your here for?" he asked, his voice was somewhat cold, he hated being bothered when he was thinking about things, or when he wanted to be alone, He knew he was acting like a Jerk right now but oh well, she sounded pretty rude by asking that herself.
Zhenson still wasn't use to having blonde hair, he had wanted to be different, it was a good thing that it would come out with the shampoo and condisioner he had just resently bought at the Mall, he looked very weird now, and even he had to admit that to himself, but to some he looked weird all the time.

i am the walking dead heartbreaker... my apologies... i'm happy you'll never understand... what it's like to be... trapped under six feet of... solid glass... i can see out, but no one gets in...
Amidalla raised her eyebrow slightly as she watched her companion jump from the tree, he could have broken something had he fallen wrong but she could not bring herself to care too much, creatures had a higher tolerance for pain than most. Relaxing? she failed to see how sitting in a dead tree by a lake could be considered relaxing but then again she rarely engaged in such an act herself, always alert unless she was with her fiancé, the older demon always got her to let go and drop her guard a little, but then again she felt a lot safer near him than with most. "I fail to see how sitting in a dead tree can be considered relaxing" she said, voicing her thoughts. Her tone was sharp but not rude, as she turned to face the water, the soft glow of the rising sun reflecting off the surface, projecting a fountain of colour across the water, disturbed only by the ripples as the wind blew softly.
"And can I ask what your here for?"
His tone irritated her before he had even finished his sentence, it was cold and she did not like people speaking to her in such a way. Still, she held back, digging her fingernails into the palms of her hands to calm herself. With her hands in her pockets no one would notice until they saw the blood spots on her hands later in the day, she had a habit of drawing blood. "Vampires do not sleep, surely this has not escaped your attention, you cannot expect me to sit around listening to the useless snores of dormmates who have the luxury of such an act" she said, a slight hiss to her tone, showing that she was unimpressed with the way he had spoken, though it could be mistaken and lead one to believe it was the words that had annoyed her. "You want to watch that tone" she added sharply "it could get you killed one day". It was not a threat, nor did it sound like one, but more of a warning laced with malice. She held no prejudices to those of mixed blood but many people did and it was dangerous to speak to anyone in such a way when you did not know their beliefs.

He laughed littley, how rude of him, he did sound like a jerk, and now he knew that for sure, although he didn't really like being annoyed early in the morning, he kind of brought himself to that because he had choosen to come here, but then again many people didn't come here, so he had thought it would be somewheres good to relax, and get away from all the sleeping students, he knew she was a vampire, he could just tell, maybe it was because he was half vampire himself, or maybe he was just guessing, but there was something about her.
Zhenson laughed again when she said how sitting in a tree was relaxing "relaxing is something weird, you can't imagine the weirdest places you can be relaxed in" he said, his voice went from cold to more of a sarcastic remark but he was trying to be nice, he knew however it wasn't doing very good. And then he heard her say she was a vampire 'i was right' he thought to himself, then nodding "I do sleep, but I know I don't need it" he said, maybe she knew he was a half-blood vampire, but could she guess if he was part shapeshifter two?.
"I'm sorry, i should've intruduced myself, I'm Zhenson" he said, he really had to be nicer to the other students here, the couciliors had even said so. But then again Zhenson didn't know how to behave around other people because he had stuck to himself for the longest time of his life, he looked down at the floor when there was nothing to say.
He noticed her warning her at first it made him mad, but when she said it was for the good of himself he nodded he was a little rude by tone, and by the words he said "I'm sorry, I'm not really use to talking to people, i should have been more social as a little kid, but i wasn't so I guess I have to get use to people" he said, calming himself down, he would try to be nicer.

"relaxing is something weird, you can't imagine the weirdest places you can be relaxed in" "I do sleep, but I know I don't need it"
Amidalla said nothing, her eyebrow raised slightly in a mockery of curiousity. In all honesty, she could not care less about what he found relaxing, it was a luxury that was, in some ways, denied to her. She noted the coldness in his voice and snorted slightly as it turned to sarcasm, oh how she wished she could just wipe the sarcasm from his tone, she hated it when someone directed it at her, even if she was rather sarcastic herself at times. "Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit" she said, rather offhandedly, bringing her hand up to wipe a strand of hair from her face. There were defined half-moon marks on the palm of her hand and blood stained her palm and the tips of her fingernails, but she did not seem to care. She observed her companion with a little curiousity. She could sense the vampire in him but it was obvious he was not pure. No matter how hard she tried, however, she could not for the life of her work out what his other half was, it was driving her insane, though she did not outwardly show it. "Half vampire?" she asked, knowing already that she was right but desiring confirmation. She did not allow her curiousity towards his other half show, despite the fact she knew that it would be prying into the business of another.
"I'm sorry, i should've intruduced myself, I'm Zhenson"
Ami almost laughed but held it back. It was obvious to her that this halfbreed was not of her clique and it was making her a little irritated. She had little time for those of other cliques, even though she could often be seen conversing with them as she was doing currently. "Amidalla Bloodryne" she said, offering her own name and hoping he would not attempt to shorten it in some friendly gesture. Only family and close friends got away with that. Thinking of her family made her sigh, though it was rather quiet. Her elder siblings; Jamilla, Rosella and Tuomas, had already graduated but she was still looking out for Marvolo, her younger brother, despite his insistance that he could handle himself. Once Marvolo had come along she knew what her older siblings had meant when they said that they were naturally protective of her, it seemed that it came naturally to the Bloodrynes to protect those of their clan.
"I'm sorry, I'm not really use to talking to people, i should have been more social as a little kid, but i wasn't so I guess I have to get use to people"
Ami noticed the anger, perhaps it was just one of those, change in the air things, but it was evident when it was there and then gone again. She rolled her eyes slightly, this kid put up little to no fight and it was a little bit boring if she were being honest to herself, she was use to the rebels that she hang out with, never giving into authority. Or perhaps it was because she was so stubborn she expected others to be. Whatever the case this Zhenson was agreeing with her a lot easier than others would. "It's not me you have to worry about" she said, her tone soft but with a little bite to it "being social is alright when you're social with the right people, the winds are changing around here and there is little anyone can do to stop it" She slid her hands into the pockets of her jeans and leant back against the tree that Zhenson had vacated, her eyes scanning the pond in front of her, taking in the small details. Even if she would only admit it to herself, Ami was scared of the direction things were headed. With hybrids being taken left, right and centre she was worried about what would happen should she fall pregnant. She was engaged to a demon and she was not going to get knocked up by some random vampire just to keep the lines pure, it was not happening!

Zhenson's eyebrow raised when she said something about sarcasm, honestly Zhenson was overly sarcastic, he was also the kind of guy you didn't want to get the bad side of, he grinned at her, why he was like this, he didn't know why, a lot of people thought he liked playing games, well actually the people that thought that were right, he liked playing games with people, expecially the ones that got eritated the most.
He nodded when she asked if he was half vampire "and half shapeshifter I should say I'm more shifter then vampire if any" he said smiling at her, He wasn't afraid to say he was a half-blood, even if he knew for just being a half-blood could get him killed, he wasn't afraid of death, he was only afraid of losing the ones he cared about like Ambrose and Poppy and sadly his brother Tyson even though they didn't get along together, if anyone hurted his younger brother he would rip there throats out.
Zhenson nodded when she said her name was Amidalla he could swear he had heard that name before but where he did not know, and he would not care either, it wasn't as if the two would get along, Zhenson didn't get along with most girls only Poppy or as he called her Pop, Pop was fun he had to admit, and when he hadn't well hand't been... 'gay' he had liked her more then just a friend but that had been over ten years ago.
He laughed at her next saying, yes things were changing. Hybrids were going missing, Zhenson was one of the hybrids willing to get caught and find out what and who was taking them, just to save everyone else, honestly when you got past his jerky attitude Zhenson was someone who would do anything to make sure his friends stay safe. He looked down his hair falling into his face "I know, I know. I promised myself I would stop those idiots who took inisent people away from everyone" he said, he looked up grinning again.

Amidalla looked at her companion curiously, how had she not picked he was a shapeshifter, or at least part of one, she had met them before, though not as much as she had demons and werewolves. She shook her head slightly to clear it, there was no use pondering on something that could not be changed "more shapeshifter?" she asked curiously "do you mean you show more traits or that you are actually of more shapeshifter blood?" honestly people could be so confusing sometimes. She did not let her emotions show outwardly, she hardly knew this person and he was from a completely different clique if she was correct in her assumptions, she was not going to drop her mask and show herself to him, figuratively of course. His only response to her introduction was a nod and she tilted her head to the side slightly, observing him for a moment "penny for your thoughts" she said, though she was certain she wasn't all that interested in what he had to say, it was conversation none the less and it was better than standing around in silence.
"I know, I know. I promised myself I would stop those idiots who took inisent people away from everyone"
There that idiot streak was, she had been waiting for it and if the grin on his face was a tell tale sign he was actually serious. She looked towards the sky and rolled her eyes, willing her patience to come. She had the sudden urge to slap her forehead but refrained from it. How stupid could people get? Stopping the idiots one person was useless against them, and she knew there was more than one, in fact she had an inkling of a few people behind it though she dared not say anything. "And how do you propose to do that?" she asked, her tone rather sarcastic now as she let her gaze drop back down to him "there are no innocents in war" she added, digging her nails into her palm once more to calm herself.

"No I'm equal of both but the shapeshifter traits are more domanint" Zhenson said, yeah sure his vampire traits were located somewheres inside him, he could run fast, like he could in his animal form though, but then again vampires and shapehifters were both naturally fast, and he could lift almost 3 times his weight if he wished to, but he could shapeshift into a animal, and it wasn't as tiring as using his vampire traits.
Zhenson sighed shaking his head, he wouldn't be the only going Mr. Williams the math teacher, Demeteri, Akita, and Iwona would all go together to find out what the problem was, and he would get plenty more people to go with him to, not only did he want to end the stop of those kidnapped hybrids but he also wanted to get revenge over his half bother Dante, Dante had killed his parents, and wanted nothing to do with his older brother, and younger one two.
"You'd be suprised at how much a single person can do to change the minds of thousands" Zhenson said, saying the same words his mother had. She had given birth to them so that they could be different, but it had led to her death, Zhenson's father's death, and the near ending of the Raven clan, the Raven clan had once been a big clan full of hybrids but most of them had been killed or kidnapped by the organization that Zhenson knew Dante was siding with.

Amidalla nodded slightly, it was not uncommon for hybrids to have certain traits from one of their species more dominant than the other. It all depended on which traits were the strongest in the family line and whether or not they were a first or second generation hybrid. She had not researched the subject thoroughly but she knew the basics behind it. There had definitely been some hype when she had asked her elder brother to research that for her. You're too young to be thinking of children, blah, blah, blah the lecture had gone on for almost an hour before Ami had been able to get a word in to say that it wasn't because she was thinking of children but more because she was curious to know what it was that was undesirable about hybrids. Tuomas had calmed down after that but there was no doubt that he was still suspicious. She wondered if he had actually gone and lectured Lucian as well.
"You'd be suprised at how much a single person can do to change the minds of thousands"
"This is not one of those cases, at least not as far as you are concerned" she said. Her tone betrayed the fact that she was bored and irritated now. "You are a hybrid, you try and do something and poof no more Zhenson Raven on this planet" I should know she added the last part in her mind but had a slight suspicion that her thoughts were betrayed on her face, despite her conveniently placed mask. It wasn't that she was worried about any one person, how could she be, she barely knew this boy, but she knew a few hybrids and she knew her family, well the other half of it, was linked in with the disappearances somehow. But who was she to stop him, if this boy wanted to go gallivanting around the countryside trying to stop the abductions then by all means let his stupidity reign, it wasn't like it was any skin off her back.
She sighed and looked out over the pond, removing her hands from her pockets and crossing them over her chest. She felt some form of comfort in the jumper she had on. It was Lucian’s but she doubted he realised she still had it, it wasn’t like he would be getting it back anytime soon, it made her feel safe in these times of danger. “What people need to realise is that if you go running into danger you will get killed, the best way to change someone’s mind is to work from the sidelines, start low and work your way up, it keeps morons from getting killed” she emphasised the work moron, hoping he would realise that she thought his idea to stop them himself rather moronic, but she didn’t hold her breath.
