I sighed softly out of frustration as the sound of my pencil hit against the blank lined page once again. I hated essays, I hated history, I hated English, but what I hated the most was having to be stuck inside all day and feed human leftovers. The color of my blue eyes shifted slightly as I glanced across the room to wards the sound of a plastic tray dropping on the ground, but just as suddenly the sound had hit me I ignored it and took a sip from my coffee cup.
It was strange, well most would probably say. I never ate or touched human food unless I still had the interest or liked the taste of it, but since being on my own I had learned to survive on human blood. The others pure or mixed blood scents filling the room had never disturbed me as more and more others soon filled the dining room and cause more sound as they talked, but I was becoming irritated.
I let out a deep breath trying to calm myself before standing and grabbing my tray and tossing out my drink in the nearest garbage can only having finishing half of it, which was always a habit. I threw out my scrap of line paper in the garbage rebounding it off against the rib of the barrel and then grabbed my leather jacket heading to wards the outside doors, until I stopped in my tracks when I felt someone bump into me."Sorry, are you alright?"
((ooc. Yes, it is a habit of mine to rp in first character))

Bailey hadn't really had the best day and it only seemed to get worse no matter what she did. She half just thought about going to her room and giving up but she was afraid of what might happen in her room, even when alone, with the day she'd been having. She'd much rather be out here with everyone else screwing up their days as well. It wasn't often that Bailz was in a mood like this but today she was.
She'd found her way to the dining hall, although she wasn't the least bit hungry at all. Either way, she found herself getting a tray of food as well as a coke. Sitting down at a table, she picked at the food on her plate, none of it looked too great right about now.
After finishing her coke, she just decided to leave. She'd go find somewhere else to be. When standing up and turning around to get rid of her tray, she collided with someone. Bailz sighed just slightly at this fact and then she heard whoever it was, a guy, speak. Nodding her head in response and then finally speaking, "I'm fine. Sorry about that.. I seem to be having a bad day and I'm determined to bring others down with me." She laughed slightly, half kidding but half telling the truth.
((most times it would annoy me but its okay.))

I waited to see her eyes and see if she really was alright, but only getting a reply with a nod back I tried my hardest to not force my empathy on her too see what was really wrong."It's that so? Feeling that down are you?" The bright color of my eyes flickered into a deeper blue within seconds as the sound of my voice appeared to become a tone lower, but I lightly shook my head fighting it off with the blur of emotions coming from her.
"We, probably have never met, but my name is Tyson Raven. You can call me Ty for short though." I paused for a second bending down and picking up her tray before setting it on a free table beside us."Sorry about your lunch, I can buy you a ticket if you want to replace it" The color of my eyes had settled back once again to their light blue color, but my mind was beginning to wonder where Harmony was since it had been a few days since we had last talked.I just hoped that nothing was wrong.

Bailey hadn't expected him to really respond to what she had said. She figured he would just apologize and be on his way. He, however, didn't do that. "You have no idea.." Was her response to his question. It had been a really rough day and even though the two had collided with one another, it seemed to be getting better.
She couldn't help but stare at his eyes a little longer then she should. They, like her own, were blue but they were a tab more vivid then her own. And he was basically gorgeous. Shaking her head, she smiled a little, "I've seen you around a couple times but I didn't know your name. I'm Bailey but call me Bailz. Everyone does.."
"No, its fine." She shook her head, "You don't have to do that.. I wasn't going to eat it anyways.." It was true. She had no intention of eating the food, and though he was only trying to be nice, she wasn't going to may him replace it when she was never going to eat it.

I watched as her eyes stared back at mine for what seem to be like more then just a few seconds, but seeing her small smile I lightly tilted my head and gave her a soft friendly smile in return."Alright, Bailz." I shifted a half step back and placed her tray ontop of my old one before turning back to her and lightly gripping the stap to my bag that was hung over my shoulder."Well since you are not hungry, lets get away from this crowd. I don't like loud places or big crowds."
It was true that I played my music loud at times, but not many here knew why I never stayed around large groups. I would probably never admit it to anyone else, but I had a feeling that Zhen knew what it was.I might have just looked like any normal kid in the school with piercings and all, but I knew that I was one of the stronger hybrids and older ones.I never tried drawing attention to myself, but I knew that she had already somewhat fallen for the shifting blue colors of my eyes.Only little did she know by what the colors ment.

Bailey nodded a little and turned to make her way out of the crowded lunch room. The two had that much in common at least. She wasn't always a fan of big crowds or loud places either. Though, she could be loud at times, she was mainly a quiet, reserved person. She never spoke to hardly anyone so the fact that she was actually speaking to him was nothing short of a miracle.
The odd thing was that Bailz could feel herself shielding him like she was herself. It was a habit with her. Though she couldn't figure out why she was doing it with him. The added focus was a little more then what she was use to so she had to try really hard to keep it around the two of them as they walked. If he stuck close to her, it wasn't hard. She'd had enough practice to be able to do it.
Funny thing was that she never shielded anyone other than herself. And she could only think of one other person that she had ever shielded until now and they had lost touch a little while ago. As the two entered the hallway and had gotten away from the crowd and the loudness, she turned to look at him again, not really sure what to say. She had always been way too quiet for her own good, especially with guys that she liked.
At this point she was mentally kicking herself for not talking more. He was going to think she was a freak because she wasn't talking. Though he probably already thought that anyways. She did notice one thing about him though, even though she didn't know him, she was a very perceptive person, "Is there something on your mind? It seems like something's bugging you.."

My lightly blue colored eyes caught the sight of her small nod of her head before I followed her out of the loud and noisy growing room with all of the other studens being left behind us. She seemed quiet for most of the walk, but something kept my senses wide awake as though a type of force field was about put around us both, but I thought of it as nothing, until it had hit me as she was protecting me with a shield.
It made me think for a few seconds as we walked in silence as to why she was doing this, since I was always the over protective one of someone else, but I tried not to hard to think on it while he walked. I tried to think on other things for a few seconds thinking of how I would have enough time left over in the day to finish my stupid ass report, but the sound of her voice brought me back making me wonder if she was always this quiet with the other students.
"Don't worry about me, i'm just thinking on how to finish my report. That is all really. I don't have many favourite subjects." I gave a light half laugh with my answer knowing that I hated almost every since subject that was or had been ever created on the face of this earth, but then again I questioned why I wanted to come back here and finish my last grade that I had missed...It kept my wondering, but then again my mind always seemed to wonder.

Bailey kept her shield up as they walked, wondering if he knew what she was doing. If he did, he didn't make it known. She wasn't really sure if he could sense it or not, some could while others couldn't. Either way, she lowered it just slightly as she stood there. If he could sense it then he probably thought it was weird and he was probably trying to figure out why she'd be shielding someone that she had only just met.
Seconds after thinking that, she lowered it completely. Now only shielding herself. She was rather disappointed in herself for shielding him to begin with and then taking it down after thinking about it a little longer. With Casper she'd always practice on him and he never seemed to mind. But it was more then just her practicing. Most of the time she wanted nothing more than to protect Casper and she hadn't been around anyone worth shielding. Until now. With Tyson.
She couldn't figure out why he was so different. She had been friends with Casper all her life and it was just habit for her to shield him while with him. Tyson was a whole different story. She wanted to shield him. She didn't want anything to happen to him. But she was rather certain that he could protect himself if it came to it. She wasn't really sure what he was and after that she was rather curious.
When he answered her, she nodded her head, still not satisfied that that was really what it was, though she wasn't going to question him on it, "May I ask what the reports about?" Bailz had always loved to write so any reports were always an easy task to her. Besides, the longer she kept the conversation going, the longer she was with him. "I love to write so maybe I can help, if you want that is.."
So maybe she was trying to be helpful or maybe she just didn't wanna love contact with him. He was worth something, which was saying a lot. Bailz was normally a good judge of character and she wondered what good she saw in him. She didn't know him enough to be able to say for herself.

I glanced back to wards her as I felt the built up shield around me suddenly leave as though it had never been there before, but lightly shaking my head I mentally kicked myself for not realizing right away that she was a human. A gifted one. I began to run her name through my mind remembering when she had told me it only a few minutes before, but hearing the sound of her voice it grabbed my attention away from my own thoughts once again."I don't really know why I need to write it in the first place, but it's on regeneration of the human cells.Of how fast it takes or how long and is it even possible." I knew that it was since I was a fast healer when it came to injuries, but writing about it. I found was a pointless thing to do.
I stopped and leaned back against the wall to support my weight as I rested and looked outside of the nearest window before looking back at her again with a warm smile."If you want to help me, you are welcome to, but i'm sure that the teachers want it to be a solo essay." I leaned forwards finding my feet again and let my blue eyes travel to wards hers agan looking for an answer. Then again I was not even sure if she trust a vampire that she did not know.

Bailey smiled a little and nodded her head. She wasn't sure if she should just ask or not. She wanted to know but she wasn't sure how he would react to being asked, "Is it okay to ask what you are?" Bailz was never good with figuring out what the other kids were. Most times they gave it off by the way they acted, like Demons and Angels. You could always tell those apart from other species. Vampires, werewolves and shape shifters were always a tad more difficult.
"If you haven't figured it out already, I'm a human, just gifted." She shook her head a little. Sometimes she wondered what she was doing here. All the others were some type of creature or something. All she was was a human with the ability of shielding herself, and sometimes others. She shook her head just slightly, "I'd love to help.. but if you'd rather me not then that's fine too..." She trailed off a little after that. He seemed just a big guarded about some things, and she wasn't sure what.

Hearing the sound of her next question it made me blink in surprise but I quickly shook it off and replied back."I know what are you, but I was not to sure as to how you would react when I told you what I was. I smiled softly to wards her and let the edge of one of my fangs tap lightly against my pierced lower lip."I am a vampire. A hyrid, who can shift into a wolf. I can smell any human around me for miles and the slightest sound can make me stir to look as to where it is coming from." I took a step away from the way and lightly tilted my head landing the way to wards the direction I was wanting to take her."I might be cold to the touch, and be able to fly and stay up late during the night, but it's no easy living an unlife as mos would say."
I lightly shifted on my feet and opened a door leading her outside and out into the school grounds before pulling off my hoddie from over top of my head and letting one of my long wings appear from behind me.Showing her as one long black, silky feather fell to wards the ground."But then again flying, it's not something I would be easily willing to give up right away." I gave her a soft smile showing that I was no threat to wards her and took a step closer until we where under the shadow of a tall tree. I did not know of any other students here would could fly besides me, but I did not want to suddenly create a loud ruckus about it.

Bailey hadn't exactly thought the question through before she'd asked it. She had never really been too social with anyone here, much less a vampire or anything close to that. However, when he answered her question by showing her one of his fangs, she stepped back a few steps. It had really been the first time that she'd come face to face with a vampire.
He, however, didn't seem all the scary, with the exception of being a vampire. That was pretty intense but his pretty blue eyes kept her attention and she seemed to wanna follow him wherever he went. As the two got outside and under the tree and he showed off one of his wings, she was too in shock to speak. She was too in shock to speak about anything he'd just said.
Slowly though, she lifted her hand to touch his cheek. It was, in fact, cold as ice. Now she thought her shield over him earlier was rather insignificant. He wouldn't need her protection in the least little way.

My blue eyes flickered slightly as I watched her look back at me with a shocked expression as though she had never seen a vampire which I had already supected while back inside of the school long before I had ever told her anything, but silently watching me move closer to me I stood still until I felt her touch against the side of my face making the color of my eyes shift into a lighter blue then before.I knew that not many probably knew that a vampires eyes could change to color to match their emotions or moods, but so far I was happy that she had not run away in fear from me.
I slowly turned my neck and lightly nuzzled into the side of her hand letting my fangs show again and lightly poke at my bottom lip closing my eyes slightly showing that I was not going to hurt her in anyway possible. My fangs grew longer as they brushed lightly against the palm of her hand feeling against the softness of her skin, but not daring to bite into her hand at all even for a taste of something I had been wanting for so long while on the school grounds I pulled away and looked at her again.Watching and waiting to see what she would do or say next since she had been silent.

Bailey smiled just slightly at him. She was surprised that she hadn't turned to run away from him yet. But she wasn't in the least bit scared of him. She watched his eyes as they shifted to an even lighter blue. 'Gosh, he's so beautiful..' She shook her head, shaking the thoughts from her mind. One, she had only just met him and two he was a vampire. That didn't meant anything to Bailz though, she could really honestly care less.
She watched him as he turned his face into the palm of her hand, obviously trying to show her that he wasn't going to hurt her, though Bailz had never believed he would. She knew by his comment earlier that he had known from the beginning that she was in fact human and he hadn't touched her. She didn't know anything about him but the funny thing was that she wanted to. She wanted to know everything about him.
Slowly, she pulled her hand away from his cheek, letting it fall to her side. She knew now would be the time to say something though she couldn't get herself to speak. She couldn't think of anything to say. It wasn't that she was scared to speak, though she had been shocked into silence. Blinking a couple times, she looked into his eyes, finally saying the only thing she could think to say, "I'm not scared of you.."

I watched silently as she smiled back to wards me and followed the movement of my color shifting blue eyes again looking as them as if in awe. A few seconds later I felt her warm hand pull away from the side of my face as I watched it drop down to wards her sides once again before she spoke. So..she was not scared of me, but before I decided to speak or say anything I took a step to wards her and moved close enough so that my eyes where looking down into hers. I was a hard breath away from leaning down and kissing her warm lips but I stop myself short and took a half breath taking in her now familiar scent."How sure of you are that?" I knew that she had said that she was no scared of me at all, but in a small way I wanted too teste her as my eyes looked into her where I could see my own blue eyes starting back at me as I took another breath."Are you sure that you are not just lying to yourself?" I glanced her over one more time looking for an answer.
